The year it all started
Shut Up and Eat! opened its doors in Toms River in 2006 with a simple idea: serve big, generous breakfast and lunch — and never take yourself too seriously.
Today it's a recognizable neighborhood institution, known as much for its outrageous personality as for its enormous menu.
Chapter 02
Here, the staff famously work in pajamas. It sets the tone the moment you walk in: relaxed, playful, and just a little ridiculous — in the best way.
Look around and you'll find eclectic, nostalgic décor covering the space — the kind of place where there's always something new to spot between bites.
